Why hello again, Tailed Venturers!
We're creeping up on our £65K port stretch goal! Exciting indeed!
To celebrate, we’re hosting our very first event: a Fan Art Contest!
We've already seen some fantastic artwork from the community, and it’s been truly inspiring. So, we’d love to see even more of your creative takes on the world and characters of Tails of Fate! Whether you’re a seasoned artist or just want to have some fun, this is your chance to showcase your creative flair and be part of the adventure!
Contest Brief:
Create fan art featuring one of your favorite characters (Reynard, Varken, or Koal).
You can submit a traditional drawing, a digital illustration, a 3D model, or even a Photo of you or a pet cosplaying as one of the characters.
How can we submit our entries?
All entries can be submitted in the #art-contest channel in our Discord server https://discord.gg/BMjpt9tabF
and/or on X/Instagram using the hashtags #ToFfanart and tagging @tailsoffate.
(Feel free to include anything else in your post, as long as these required items are present.)

Deadline:
- Submit your artwork on Discord or tag us on your preferred social media (X or Instagram).
- Submissions must be received by Tuesday, March 7th at 2 PM UTC.
- Winners will be announced on Monday, March 17th at 2 PM UTC.
- The contest starts on Tuesday, February 18th, as announced.
Selection Criteria:
- Character Reference (Tails of Fate character): 30%
- Creativity & Personal Style: 50%
- Technique & Quality: 20%
Rules
- Posting on multiple sites is allowed.
- No purchase is necessary to enter.
- If you make multiple submissions, only one will be awarded.
- Must include at least one Tails of Fate character (you can also include your own OCs alongside).
- If a winner declines their prize, it will be awarded to an honorable mention.
Prizes:
All prize winners will receive a special mention within the game as an Easter egg! What that means is a surprise! >:D

At £65,000, we'll unlock console ports for PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X, bringing Tails of Fate to even more players! PS5 will have both physical and digital editions, while Xbox and PS4 will be digital-only.

MINDWAVE – This gem of a Kickstarter game is about to ascend into the heavens of its funding campaign in just 4 days! If you haven’t already, you should check out their amazing campaign and ridiculously fun and whacky demo! >:]
ILA — The folks at MagicRain Studio have crafted a charming blend of Minecraft aesthetic visuals and an abundance of adorable fun! Check them out—they’re already hitting their stretch goals!
Alterium Shift—As someone who grew up with RPGs such as Golden Sun, I instantly felt nostalgic for this game! They’re reaching 80% of their funding goal, so definitely give them your support if this is your jam!
Hippoxxus – A Sci-fi pixel action shooter with strong Metroid influences. If that’s your kind of game, keep an eye out—it goes live on the 11th! We can’t wait!

We Did It! 100% Funded in 48 Hours!
Seeing Tails of Fate fully funded in under 48 hours has blown our little indie team away!!! It’s incredible that so many of you have followed along with our journey, believing in this game and have rallied behind it so quickly.
Not only that, but the support from developers, creatives, and content creators who have aided Tails of Fate has been heartfelt. What began as a humble passion project has grown into something bigger. With all the encouragement we have received, we’re so excited to leave our fox’s footprint on Kickstarter, which has made it possible alongside such a fantastic community!
